Five contenders will vie for a USD25,000 reward in the new pitch contest for businesses in the area that are technologically-based.

According to the event organizer, to qualify for the said contest, businesses should make income and profits by paying clients, offer a live product as well as a demonstration to customers, and need to be based in fifty miles of the city of Baltimore. The application will last until the end of the month, and start-up businesses are welcome to join.
Baltimore Homecoming, a non-profit company, aims to bring together talented and gifted Baltimore natives from all corners of the globe to connect. They are looking to spread their skill and knowledge.

According to Dan Schochor, executive director of Baltimore Homecoming, with the growing start-up community in mind in Baltimore, we come up with the Grab Tank Pitch contest to support companies and entrepreneurship in our area. This rare chance to show in front of respected Baltimore Alumni and they extend their
appreciation to M & T Bank for the support.
According to the officials, the top 5 businesses will be selected this coming October 4. The competition will run starting from 16 to October 18; this is a three days celebration.The winner will be chosen at the closing of the event on October 18 and grab the USD25,000 prize.
