Disclaimer: Matte Finish Cards printed with a heavy or solid ink coverage with a matte finish may show flecks chipping off of the edge of the cards after trimming, especially if you have a solid/heavy ink coverage on both sides of your cards. We have found that choosing a Gloss UV coating helps reduce this chipping issue. To avoid chipped edges entirely we recommend you choose our premium Silk Laminated Cards.

FAQs
What is a matte finish, and how is it different from other finishes?
A matte finish is a smooth, non-reflective coating that is put on business cards to make them look simple and professional. It's a great option for businesses that want to look classy without being too flashy.
How do I design a business card with a matte finish?
When making a matte-finish business card, it's important to remember that the non-reflective finish won't draw attention to any flaws in your design the way a glossy finish would. This means that you can be a little more creative with your design and use gradients and patterns if you want to. Just make sure to use high-resolution graphics so that your design looks clear and professional.
How long does the matte finish printing process take?
Usually, it only takes 2-4 business days. When you add round corners or edge painting, it takes a little longer.
Are matte business cards durable?
As long as you handle matte business cards carefully, they are just as durable as traditional business cards. They won't fade or change color, either, so they will keep looking great for years to come.
Can I print designs with full color and a matte finish?
Yes, you can print full-color designs on matt paper. The non-reflective finish will give your design a professional and understated look while still letting you show off your brand's colors and graphics.
How can I make my matte business cards stand out?
If you want your matte business cards to stand out, you could use special printing techniques like foil stamping or embossing. You can also add a pop of color to your design to make it more interesting.
