About Raised Foil
Raised foil adds a third dimension to your business card. Unlike flat foil stamping where the metallic surface sits flush with the paper, raised foil creates a physical layer above the paper surface — you can feel the outline of your logo, your name, or a pattern with your fingertips.
The effect works by building up a metallic layer digitally and curing it with UV light, which hardens the foil into a permanent raised surface. The result is a card with two distinct textures: the velvet softness of the matte laminate and the smooth, hard edge of the raised metallic foil.
Holographic raised foil adds an iridescent rainbow effect to the dimensional surface.
